Ctenanthe Burle Marxii Amabilis – The Never Never Plant

A relative of the Calathea Family, this Plant was named in honour of Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx.
Historically found in the rainforest floors of Brazil, this plant is now more widely spread. Like other calatheas, this plant has top air purifying qualities, whilst being so stunning to look at. Those Silver and Green leaves move slowly facing the sky in the evening to allow you to see the stunning purple colour underneath.
When given the right growing conditions, the Never Never plant can grow up to seven feet in size (just over 2 meters), spreading horizontally, while not rising more than 12-18 inches in height.

Plant Care;
With its natural habitat being the jungle, the thrive on high humidity and light spots with no direct sunlight. Water from the base around every 7-10 days, and mist with water (prefferably rain water) on a regular basis, especially in the winter months when the central heating is turned on, as this dries out the air.
