So, after 89 days, and 2,136 hours closed the shop has now opened its doors and has been for just over a week.
At first it was a very daunting prospect, opening the doors to the public, making sure that all the correct procedures are in place and following guidlines correctly, whilst still maintaining the business! Would there be enough custom? Would people social distance? Would people make complaints if they didnt feel that the shop was as it should be? In general, what would people be like?
After a couple of sleepless nights and anxiety levels through the roof, I opened the doors on Saturday 20th June after spending a week in the shop trying to make it look less like a warehouse, and bring it back to life. It felt good. My first customers were very polite, respectful and kind.
It feels amazing to be back!
